As part of the bedroom decor, maximize bedroom storage area use. Use closets (walk-in closets and not cramped closets) and under-the-bed storage systems whenever you can. Ensure that there is as much natural light into the bedroom as possible. The windows should be such that they allow in sunlight and the color of the wall should be soothing so that the lighting is not overwhelming. Use lighting fixtures to brighten up dark corners.
If you love something different and want to make your bedroom stand apart from other bedrooms, you might like to look at some modern bedroom schemes and sets. These are not for every person and you need to have a good artistic sense as well have a good idea about architecture and lines and shades. If you are the perfect candidate then the modern bathroom sets are your best option. However be careful since these sets cost the earth and you should know how much you are willing to spend before you embark on such a venture. There are many types of modern bedroom sets and your choice is not limited to wood. How about checking out the latest rage and going in for beds make out of wrought iron.
Shades of grey are very fashionable at the moment, whether it's confined to the bedroom walls or a single piece such as an armchair (if you have space in your bedroom) or ultimately, an upholstered bed. Large dark wooden beds with contrasting light, crisp linen balanced with understated additional bedroom furniture are a firm favourite of mine. Perhaps you are considering using a brighter, bolder or darker colour on the walls but you are concerned that this will make the bedroom too dark? A top tip is to use high gloss paint, which reflects a great deal of light, bringing your room back to life.
The bedroom decor should match with the rest of the house. It should not compete with it. When you hire an interior designer to decorate home, ensure that he/she also does the bedroom. Pick a new place for your computer and other electronics. Electronics have no place in the bedroom since they interrupt your sleep and they prevent you from having restorative sleep. You should, even, consider banishing your cell phone from your bedroom.
